PLEASE HELP!

Hi, and please forgive me if I am intruding here, since I do not read this group all the tiime and have rarely posted, and please also forgive me for the breach of Netiquette by not simply cross-posting to the three groups I am posting to.

If you care about ferals, please read and letter below, and if you can, please write to the people listed. These cats are in imminent danger of being killed simply because they are ferals. Any help is very much appreciated.

A group of wonderful cats is about to be trapped and put to death, for absolutely no good reason, and they need your help

I don't know that there is a deadline right now. Initially, the parks superintendent said he was going to begin immediately, but one of the group talked to the mayor on Monday. The only concession the city has made is that they will tell one of the group members before they start doing this They are going to try to meet with City Council next week. Hopefully, Council and the Mayor will have a lot of letters by then, and realize that this is *not* something that should be done.
