smart ass comments about my own two
Yes, I understand; I even grinned when I saw the title, 'Non Tzu.'

I'm grinning now! I don't mind admitting, I enjoy a little levity here, because, by nature, dog rescue is a rather serious matter. But on 2-23, John Fields made an especially valid point: essentially, new comers to this newsgroup might be repulsed by some of the things that have gone on here recently.
Of the thousands of news groups, most are for the benefit of humans. This newsgroup is for the benefit of dogs. They deserve our best, which means keeping this news group sharp.
On 2-23 MaryBeth wrote, '...Really. it's like she thinks she's making *any* kind of difference here.' In fact, I've rarely seen anyone make as much difference as Victoria Franco has made. I'm no saint and no prude, but just look at the bad, or weak, sides she caused some of us to reveal. A lot of people have said things, and used tones, I never expected from them. I don't think any less of them, of course, but I am reminded of how human we all are.
For the record, it was difficult for me to ignore 'Tori,' when she began taking shots at individuals I rely on for factual guidance; but I realized almost immediately that there is no way for any of us to reach Tori. For me, it's neither fun nor humane to duel with an unarmed person.
I'm not sure who said this, but I totally agree: 'Ignore trolls, and they just won't stay.'
This is just my opinion.
