We are looking for a loving and safe home for two loving dogs INSTEAD of taking them to the pound.
Story: My family and I will be traveling for my husband's business and the business address we will need to stay at does not allow pets. Most importantly, we have been noticing more and more dog allergies popping up in my family and need to act now. I thought you may know of someone kind who is interested in adpoting them and will love them as their own. Please help!!!!!!
More about the dogs: They are true sports dogs, love to be together, keep each other occupied and love to exercise! Both females, one is a purebred Yellow Lab and one is a mix:
The mixed dog is black, 'Emma' was a saved pet as a puppy; part hound, part black lab, part Weimeriner. No meds necessary, has allergy to grass and itches her ears. Very loving! Very submissive with people, good at sharing with our other dog.
The yellow lab 'sedona' takes a pill daily for prevention of epilepsy. No occurance of seizure for years!!!! Bottle of pills last two months and is $8. We will provide money for one years worth of pills. This should not be a deterrant, many dogs take a pill each day for something or the other.
They are both: housebroken very loving spayed current with most shots (haven't been recently) excellent with children (they think they are children themselves) about 5 years old (lab a little more, mix a little less) very energetic - love to play and catch, go for walks, snuggle, be brushed, etc.
With the dogs, we also have to give quite an extensive variety of toys, leashes, a pair of coats, brushes, a pair of beds and a huge dog cage, although they do not like the cage. It can be great for traveling purposes, however.
Please let us know if you know if you or someone you know may be interested in loving and taking care of them. Please help!!! Maybe even someone has some land so the dogs can run around together. Please note - they are best friends. We prefer not to break them up. For their peace of mind, anyways. If we are not able to place them together we will break them up.
