Hello, I was a breeder of cocker spaniels several years ago. Recently an owner of two of my dogs (bought as pups) contacted me and said he could no longer care for them. He doesn't want to take them to a shelter and one of them is a special needs dog. Needs thyroid meds 1x per day. These dogs are approaching 8 years and are half brothers and have ALWAYS been together. Nice dogs and were cherished pets and pampered and loved until owners got divorce. I can't care for them as I have other dogs and many horses I care for and am disabled. They are not big dogs but want to get them in a stable loving environment . . . help or refer me? These dogs would do best in a 'no small children' home.

Thanks, Karen

For those who do *not* know...you might mention that the thyroid medication is pretty cheap.
