Please take these poor guys inside. Ferals make great housepets, I know from lots of experience.

yeah they are def feral...were born out in the wild to a feral/hard stray mom, i have been feeding them since they were 6-8 weeks old and i am the only person that they are even remotely friendly around, aside from the person who owns the yard that they live in, and then they only will let him get about 4-6 feet away from them.

over the last 3 months one of the cats has let me slowly touch, then pet, then rub/scratch, and then finally pick up and hold...the cat is totally used to me now and will pretty much let me pick him up/hold him at will, he is still pretty sketchy and will run off if i move to fast or if a loud sound happens etc. his little brother is still wary of me, but now meows at me and eats with me around.

I bet that once inside they would both be tame (even though originally feral), especially where the one is tame for you already. They might be a little slower to warm up to other people, but once inside and around you they will probably both be very friendly. The kitties will appreciate it very much and I bet that they will be extremely sweet cats once they feel safe! The most feral of my cats when I brought her in is as good-natured a cat as you could find.

Feral and half-socialized already, due to all that contact and feedings. Pity the kittens at least weren't caught long ago.

It wouldn't take much to catch the family and bring them inside.

I would certainly encourage taking these sweet kittens inside.
