Although headquartered in New York City, the ASPCA is now a national animal welfare organization with more than 1 million members and supporters, a large national outreach department that works with shelters and humane societies all around the country, and an extensive array of educational programs and resources.

Non profit organization are faced by the need to expand and improve their infra structure to answer the growing need for their services.
