Are You Ready For Adopting A Pet?

Blessed efforts of all kind of local shelters and association may bring an increase to the numbers of pets adoption on adoption day. I see many inviting posts such as this one doing an excellent job in inviting people to participate. The reason I felt the need to write this post is because of recent report of neglect of dogs during families vacation season, It appears that some of the people that adopt a pet for the children are not taking full responsibility and think they can just leave the pet alone while they go on holidays. I don’t know what to make of it, should we check more carefully the awareness of the people that come for the adoption days? there are complaints as it is that some shelters dig too much into the motives and personalities of the possible adopters. Just something to think about no answers actually.
