Animal Compassionate?

Personally I couldn’t decide whether buying animal products that are signed to be cruelty free is actually better then buying the usuall meat products. I felt it was too expensive, that I couldn’t trust that there was a real diffrence in the treatment the animals got during their lives, and that maybe the antibiotics were administered for a reason. The change came with the regulation on the field of the organic meat industry.

It seems that chickens that walk freely in the yard and eat grains have better lives than the chickens that grow up in cages in unberable conditions. Freedom egges are the choice for me and the price difference is not too bad. I also try to buy “nature chicken” once in a while though it can’t be bought in all the food chains.

The new option for a meat market organized to satisfy the demands of the customers to feel better when they eat meat is a real progres. The farm grows chickens with almost no hormones and antibiotics, the chickens are free in the yard and are sold in the supermarkets as healthy and cruelty free meat.

Whole Foods Market is preparing to roll out a line of meat that will carry labels saying “animal compassionate

It is largely a question of price
.

People consume meat and meat products, so they better care for the welfare of the animals that are killed to be food, the more human the conditions in which the animals are kept and the more human the treatment they recieve is, the better is for everybody. Many animals lovers agree to pay a little extra to buy meat that is more cruelty free.
