I don't know if this is the right NG for this or not but I am looking for an Abyssinian cat. I am in the Toronto, Ontario, Canada area. I would prefer a kitten but I am having problems finding any of this breed of cats here. I have tried contacting breeders on the internet and nothing. I don't even care if it is pure breed or mixed. If anyone in or around this area knows of any pet store, breeder, or shelter that has Abyssinian cats please E-Mail me. Thanks!

I'm just curious. Why an Abyssinian? I have two great cats (dsh) that I adopted because they needed homes. Don't any cats near you need

Are those the cats that are supposed to be low/no dandruff, fur loss, etc. that are ideal for people with allergies? Or am I thinking of an entirely different breed?

Wouldn't know. Never paid any attention to fancy breeds. My cats are all shelter resuces.

I have an abyssinian/tabby mix, she is about 1 year old and acts like a kitten.
She is very affectionate and loves to play.
