I need a home by August 9 for 2 cats. Beautiful black cats.
Nemo is a male, about 3 1/2 years old, indoor outdoor. Neutered. Affectionate, but takes off for 1 - 2 days at a time, then comes back and 'demands' attention...a real 'kneader' of attention.
Shadow is a female, about 2 1/2 years old. She is scared of the outdoors, but has gone out a couple of more times lately (not *quite* by my choice). She is spayed. She is a very loving cat, and will cry when she is in a room by herself, or if you are outside and she is inside and can see you. She likes to lay on your shoulder (when you are laying on your side), or will come over and just drape herself over any available body part.
I do not have a car to take these cats to the ASPCA. I do not have any friends who can. I am posting my story below, and you can judge for yourself.
I have fought for 2 1/2 years for these cats, even paying $200 per month more in rent for them, just because they mean so much to me. And now, I am letting them down, because I cannot keep them with me.
I have some food to start them off with, but not a lot (like 3 boxes of Alley Cat, which is what I had to drop down to.)

I am being evicted.
I am going to have an eviction sale, where everything must go.
Sunday, September 9th is the only day that i will have this. Monday, the sheriff will be here to escort me off the premises.
As of now, I have $8 to my name, and will need as much money as possible to live, until I can get into shelters, or just for basic necessities to live with.

I realize most people don't care. For me to save my apartment by Monday, I need $1000. For me to eat per day, a donation of even a $1 will buy a salad at mcd's.
I also have 2 cats that I need to find homes for. They are important to me. Please help me?
